This short mission starts as a tutorial-type exercise in which your force is guarding a base area against constant attacks from British paratroops who are landing all around.

The UI will give you detailed instructions on doing simple tasks (like crewing a 20mm flak gun).

Just bear in mind that you should fill out your pop cap asap, even if the UI doesn’t nag you to do that. You don’t really need any unit types other than panzergrens, scout cars, and mortar halftracks.

Also, at the start, when you are facing only infantry, you want to equip your panzergrens with the LMGs that are lying around. Later, when you’ll face MG-firing jeeps, you’ll want one or two schreck-equipped teams to augment your LMG and AA gunfire.

Remember to click on each of your units every so often, to update its experience bonuses, which tend to accumulate quickly during firefights.

The British jeeps move and swerve with unnatural speed, unfortunately giving the last part of the mission a cheap, arcade-game quality. Kill every one of the jeeps and you get the mission medal.

The mission ends a bit abruptly once all the jeeps have attacked—maybe a couple dozen in all. The action will continue, with your force fighting offensively, in the “September Snow” mission that follows.
