Here is yet another mission in which the enemy on the map outnumbers and outguns you vastly, but somehow never attacks your base or otherwise attacks with overwhelming force, so you can move around more or less at your leisure and take all the places you need for the win.

The first thing to do is retreat your two pinned infantry units and move with your two starting Panzer IV infantry support tanks towards the building with the MG that’s pinning them. There is a PIAT-sapper team in a building behind the MG building, so stay out of range of the PIAT.

Bring in a couple of mortar halftracks. Keep your starting Jagdpanther where it can protect the Panzers. Use the halftracks, protected by the Panzers, to drive the PIAT-sappers and other enemy units out of buildings above and to the right of your base. Upgrade two or three of your infantry squads with panzerschrecks. But don’t upgrade your Panzers yet—muni points are scarce.

When you have enough (500) manpower points, bring in another Jagdpanther.

When selecting commander abilities, use the Luftwaffe tree.

Keep moving up the right side of the map, poking with tanks, using mortars to destroy from range, using your Jagdpanthers and schreck infantry to defend against armor attacks, until you have encountered the British infantry command truck—kill with tanks before it can escape.

Cap the nearby muni point. Retreat to base and heal up.

Now poke more or less directly above your base on the map, towards the nearest fuel point. The British have slit trenches and 17-pdr and mortar emplacements guarding it. Use mortars to kill the emplacements, tanks to defend against mobile counterattacks and then destroy the trenches (takes forever).Cap the fuel point.

Back to base to heal up. Bring in a couple of Marders.

Now everybody (except maybe one schreck-equipped infantry squad in base) should move left, to the lower end of the main road. The British should have their armor command truck here. Surround the base and start working on the sandbagged Churchills, Firelfy Shermans, etc., while one tank is assigned to kill the base truck. Use infantry to repair your armor as needed.

When done, cap the road point and, either there or a little way up the road, set up your armor to hit all vehicles coming down the road. You get the mission medal for hitting ten supply trucks—easy.

You also will face repeated attacks from combinations of Firefly Shermans, Shermans, Cromwells, and Churchills.

Once you have the medal, move across the road and up the left side of the map. If the armor truck got away, it should be only a little farther along the road, so deal with that first.

Otherwise, since you’ve now hit two enemy base buildings and have won the mission medal, the only thing left is to take the British HQ building, which is located near the top of the map. The British have thick defenses to get through if you want to try to flank that HQ from the right, so you have to go in frontally, and must take some time to soften up the formidable defenses, which include a 25-pdr and two 17-pdr emplacements just above a small canal bridge, plus an AT gun covering that bridge from the right.

You can take out the emplacements using Hummels (Scorched Earth Commander), an 88 built near the lower side of the bridge (Luftwaffe commander), the Henschel CAS call-in (also Luftwaffe), mortar halftracks, or some combo thereof. You can take out the small AT gun on your side of the canal using mortar halftracks (incendiary) or just infantry. While you’re doing all that, you’ll face repeated armor attacks, but with two vetted Jagdpanthers and two vetted Marders, and schreck infantry, you should have nothing to fear.

Once you can safely cross the canal bridge, use your Jagdpanthers from range (stay clear of PIATs) to take out the HQ building to end the mission.

Note that although your Jagdpanthers are extremely nerfed on this map (compared to Jagdpanthers in enemy hands on other missions), if you can vet them up and keep them paired they will destroy several dozen British tanks by the time the mission is over.
